Every time I step on stage, time stops, all the noise disappears and I feel like I can finally be myself. It is an opportunity to show the world what truly animates me.

I began my journey on the drums with private one to one lessons. In the meantime I had the opportunity to join my first band. We recorded two EPs and played more than twenty-five shows, selling out venues over hundreds of people capacity. The second step of my journey was to move in to the United Kingdom to further my studies behind the kit at Bristol’s BIMM Institute. This allowed me to develop and consolidate new skills such as playing with backing tracks, learning songs note by note in a short amount of time as well as making every song I get to play, my own.

In less than three years I have played more than thirty-five shows across five bands, as a sitting and live member. We headlined iconic Bristol venues such as The Louisiana and The Exchange. And as supports at The Fleece, Rough Trade and Thekla.

Ever since I first stepped on a stage I instantly knew; this is what makes me feel alive and happiness. I have found my purpose. This is what I want to do with my life, forever.
